About The Teacher

Hello, parents and students.  I'm starting my 2nd year as a part-time math 
teacher at St. Mary's.  I teach 6-2,6-3,7-2,and 7-3. Many of you 7th graders 
had me for math last year. I'm really looking forward to seeing you again 
(and already knowing the names of half my students!)

Last year, I returned to teaching after being home with my children for 7 
years. Prior to having kids, I taught math for 12 years, mostly at the high 
school level.

My children attend St. Mary's. Valerie is in 3rd grade and Tommy is in 1st.
My husband and I have lived in Downers Grove since 1996, and we lived in 
Woodridge for 5 years before that.

With my family, I enjoy treks to the park, and playing cards and board 
games. When I find free time on my own, I like to do crossword puzzles, 
sudoku, and read.
