It is hard to believe that the first trimester of 5th grade is over!
Where has the time gone? Time flies when...
We have finished researching our topics and writing the papers for our
Curriculum Project research papers. The first drafts are being handed in.
After revisions, the final paper will be typed at the Wireless Lab. Thank
you to Mrs. Graczyk for all of her expert guidance!!
Our Fall sports season has ended quite successfully. Basketball teams
have already begun practicing for the upcoming season. Our students did
so well in Cross Country and Volleyball! What a wonderful opportunity for
our students to participate in sports here at St. Mary of Gostyn. Thank you
to our parent coaches and volunteers.
After the first of the year, our students will be able to sign up to
become altar servers. What a wonderful way for them to share their faith!
Please encourage your fifth grader to become an altar server.
Deacon Al will be coming into our 5th grade classrooms this year. He
has already been in this month. We are very blessed to have Deacon Al visit
our classrooms and share his faith and vocation with us.
For our December Artist of the Month, we will be making our Gingerbread
Houses. The children use their creativity and imagination to create candy
masterpieces. It is always an enjoyable time.
Thank you to all of you for your prayers for my granddaughter, Abby.
Please continue to keep her in your prayers. My family will never be able to
express our gratitude for your overwhelming kindness. Saint Mary of Gostyn
School is a family. Thank you for letting us be a part of it.
As we approach the holiday season, we thank God for all of the blessings
He has bestowed on us. May your family experience the love of Christ during
this beautiful liturgical season.
