| Each book must be approved by the teacher. A list of approval dates is
found under "Book Report Due Dates" on this Web Page. At least four of the
monthly reports
MUST be a written report including:
Title of Book (Underlined)
Author
Number of Pages
3 New Words (Must include: word, pronunciation, part of speech, and
definition)
Paragraph of 6-8 sentences describing the story
Opinion of Story (Why you liked or disliked the book)
You may also make a diorama of your favorite scene from the book;
constuct a mobile about the book; or make a poster of your favorite scene
from the book. Each visual report must include:
Title of Book (underlined)
Author
Number of Pages
Description of Scene
5 new words including: (word, pronunciation, part of speech, and
definition)
One oral book report is required--Biography or Life of a Saint
(costumes optional)
EXTRA CREDIT IS ALWAYS EARNED FOR ADDITIONAL BOOK REPORTS EACH MONTH1
