Welcome to Fifth Grade, Room 102!! I am excited to begin another
school year and looking forward to a wonderful year!
Fifth grade is a year of firsts. Fifth grade is the first time that
our students can play sports for our school. We are pleased to see so many
of our 5th graders on the volleyball and cross country teams. Sign up is
going on now for the basketball teams. The sign up sheet went home on August
29th. We hope that many will particitate.
In second part of the year, there will be altar serving training. We
hope that
many of our students will sign up to serve the Lord.
Our fifth graders are excited about becoming Big Buddies to the
kindergarteners. We will meet with our Little Buddies once a month to share
activities.
Thank you to all of you for your prayers for my granddaughter, Abby.
Please continue to keep her in your prayers. My family will never be able to
express our gratitude for your overwhelming kindness. Saint Mary of Gostyn
School is a family. Thank you for letting us be a part of it.
