A worksheet called "Weekly Work" will be due on the last math class of the
week, usually Friday. Word problems, review problems and challenge problems
are included on these worksheets. Students are responsible for at least one
problem per day and their work must be shown to receive credit. Students
may choose which problems they solve.
There are several good reasons to solve more than the minimum number of
problems. First, the more problems solved, the more efficient the student
becomes at solving problems. In addition, this provides excellent practice
for standardized tests like Terra Nova and the Iowa Test of Basic Skills.
Also, additional correct answers accrue as extra credit!
