This is my first year teaching first grade, and I am very excited! For the
past two years, I have taught fourth grade here at St. Mary's. Prior to that
I aided in first grade here at St. Mary's. My husband and I have been
parishioners here for seventeen years and have two children. Before having
children, I taught high school English and Japanese in Chicago. My B.A.
degree of Teaching of English is from the University of Illinois - Chicago,
and I am currently taking classes at National-Louis University.
I firmly believe that every child can learn. It is my mission to discover
each child's gifts and help him/her to develop them while assisting him/her in
weaker areas. Teaching in a Catholic school is a blessing, and I enjoy
guiding students along in their faith journeys.
