BOOK REPORTS!
ALL 28 STUDENTS turned in their October animal research report on time!
October 30th was a very proud day in third grade! Their work was so
wonderful! Mrs. McManus has set up our classroom display of their "shape
reports". We have hung all of the written reports on the board. The
students can select a report to read in their free time! They are so happy
to share and learn from each other!
You did a terrific job TEACHING your child to look at the RUBRIC to see how
they would be graded. These reports were a great way for your child to learn
to chunk up an assignment so that they could complete a little work at a time.
Thank you for working so hard to teach these terrific kids a few great
research lessons!
Your child received an October "Pizza Hut Book-It Certificate" for completing
this work. We will work for 6 months of reports, turned in on time. If this
is a success, we will all enjoy a class pizza party in April! Yes, a long
time away but a goal we need to work for each month!
We are having tri-mesters this year so only 3 progress reports and 3
report cards will be distributed. I am very good at communicating
