SCHOOL THEME 2009-2010
MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR!
It has been a busy time here at the Neumann household with just about the BEST
Christmas presents anyone could ever ask for! First, on Christmas Eve at 1:32
p.m. GRACE CATHERINE NEUMANN was born to my son John and his wife Jenn. She
weighed in at 7 lbs. 6 oz and measuring 19 1/2 inches long! She is a beauty
and I look forward to sharing the pictures of her with the class when we
return on the fourth. A second gift was given to us by our daughter Jackie
and her husband Tony. They are expecting their second child, due in July! We
are very happy for them as this has been a hard year with the loss of their
first child Hayden Mary in January. Now Hayden will have a brother or sister
to watch over from Heaven!
Before we left for Christmas break their were a few activities going on in
Room 302. On Tuesday December 15th we performed beautifully in our annual
Christmas Concert. I am very proud of all the talent I have here in the
Rockin' 3rd Grade! Then on Thursday December 17th we had an awesome Christmas
Party. A very special thanks to Mrs. Pruim for planning and organizing the
event. A big thanks also goes out to Mrs. Ardizzone, Mrs. Bolisay and Mrs.
Moran who helped with the great activities. The wreaths were truly a work of
heart!
Friday we celebrated our last mass of the calendar year. It was a beautiful
mass to remind us of the very special gift of the Christ child. Then we were
blessed with a holiday performance by the Downers Grove North Choir. They
really put us into the holiday spirit.
From my family to yours, may 2010 bring you many blessings, happiness and
peace! Thank you for all that you do for me and your children. I am truly
blessed to have your partnership.
