Every week there will be spelling homework. The children need to write
their spelling words three times each on paper provided. It will be due on
Wednesday. Students will also have math homework. Please look in their
planner for information. Every Friday the students will have a spelling
test and a reading test.The spelling words for this week are: am, at, cat,
can, ran, man, map, tap, a, the.
Once a week your child will bring home a plastic enevelope with a book to
read. Please help him/her with this assignment. The enevelopes and books are
due the next day. My aide will go over the story with them. The books will
be comming home the week after Labor Day.
The children will also be tested on the reading vocabulary words from the
story we are currently on. The vocabulary words are located on my website
under "Reading Vocabulary" There will also be a sheet that comes home with
the first few vocabulary lists. The story for this week is Tag/Let's Tap
Also,any in class work for the week that is not completed by Friday will be
sent home to be completed for Monday. Any work sent home to be completed
needs to be returned immediately.
