Welcome back to St. Mary's and welcome into the 8th grade, your final year
here.
As we do every year, we ask you all to watch out for any kind of bullying
between your classmates. We know that you, personally, won't participate in
any bullying of any kind, including talk that is not very nice to each other
either to each other's face, on the phone, via texting, tweeting, or over
the internet. Bullying is very hurtful and stays with the victim for a very
long time. You would not like that to happen to you, so please don't do
something to someone else. Also, if you see some act of bullying going on,
stand up for the victim and to the bully, or, if that is not you, come and
let me or any other middle school teacher know, and we will help.
If it is hot, bring water but please put the water into a sock or holder of
some sort so that the water does not get over everything. If you forgot
your water, student council sells water for 50 cents each.
Remember, third period is your snack time, so bring in a healthy snack to
eat.
We are going to have a really great year.
