I love being a teacher!!! The best part of my job is watching my students
grow both in knowledge and confidence. My family and I have been part of the
Naperville community for many years. I am an alumnae of St. Mary of the
Woods College.
I was honored to have been nominated for a Golden Apple Teaching Award, was
selected as a grant reader for the A+ Excellence in Teaching Grants sponsored
by BP, have been trained as a NEED educator, was awarded three grants from the
Plano Education Foundation, am a member of the National Science Teachers
Association,and have been a Science Fair sponsor for over 18 years.
I love trying new ideas, and challenging my students to be creative,
inventive, and true followers of their faith. Every
moment in the classroom is a unique learning experience for me. It is indeed
an honor to serve as a witness to the "Greatest Teacher."
