Completed Homework Packets are due every Friday.
Please remember that homework includes the work sheets stapled to the cover
sheet, reading or being read to, practicing word wall word flash cards, and
practicing math facts after we have learned them. Please record the times
read and "Word Wall" flash cards practiced on the cover sheet of the
homework packet.
Your child will also need to practice the spelling words different ways to
prepare for the test, which is usually on Friday. Ideas can be found in
the "Spelling is Bee-utiful" folder that will be sent home on Parent Night.
Children learn in different ways, and varying the way they practice
will make the experience fun. New ideas will be sent
home from time to time. These can be placed in the folder for safe
keeping.
