Dear Parents & Guardians,
I would like to welcome you and your child to Room 205! I hope your family had a fantastic summer.
While many of you know me from last year, I would like to formally introduce myself. My name is Mrs. Huber
and this is my second year at Saint Thecla School. I graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor’s
of Science Degree in Education. I also have endorsements to teach Junior High Science, Language Arts, and
Social Studies. At Thecla, I teach 6th Grade Homeroom (Language Arts, Reading, & Art), as well as Science for
grades 5-8. Your child will also have Ms. Miller for Religion, Mr. Kessler for Social Studies, and Ms. Stanton for Math.
My goal is to make your child’s transition into Junior High fun and stress-free. With several different teachers,
I believe communication between home and school is vital. Make sure that you check TeacherWeb for the day’s
homework, important dates, my newsletter, and our daily schedule.
