We would like to thank Fr. Ken for
coming to our classroom for a
special pet blessing. He blessed
our fish (Attitude, MTD, Play, and Be There)
and our hermit crabs (Peanut Butter and
Jelly).

We really enjoyed using the interactive
white board for several lessons.
It is such an awesome way to learn!

We made several fun art projects
during October. Frankenstein
was one of our favorites!

We started Reading Clubs and
Centers during October.
By listening to books on CD
we enjoy great stories and learn
how fluent readers sound!

Who knew there were so many
different ways to practice our
spelling words?!

These are the biggest key

Buggles and Beezy help us
learn about words and
practice our spelling list
for the week.

In October we learned about
bats and spiders. We made
special spider snacks with
crackers, pretzels and
Easy Cheese!

Our arachnid snacks were fun
to make and delicious. Our spiders
had two body parts and eight legs
just like the real ones!

Hmmmm......these spider snacks
are good, but so is this DVD
about spiders!
