Where do I bring my child to enter school in the morning?

Your child lines up outside the multi purpose room with the other 
Kindergarten class.

Can my child order lunch only once in a while?

Yes, our lunch program is through the FSP company. Your child will receive an 
order form once a month and you may order any quantity of daily lunches for 
your child which includes milk in the price or you may order milk by itself. 
This is a prepay meal plan

Can my child stay for extended day?

Yes, this is a program that is in the multi purpose room. All you need to do 
is fill out the registration form and your child is eligible to stay any day 
that there is extended day in session. It is open 7:15 A.M. - 8:00 A.M. and 
then again 2:30 P.M. - 6:00 P.M. This is billed once a month through the 
office.

Can I call the school to let them know my child is sick?

Yes you can call even the night before. The school has an answering machine 
and it is receiving calls 24 hrs. a day. 773-763-3380

On Gym days does my child wear his/her gym uniform to school?

Yes, your child wears their gym uniform on gym days to school. No need for 
changing of clothes during the day.

Can my child bring a birthday treat for his/her birthday?

Yes, it is strongly recommended to send individual wrapped packages of treats 
for safety reasons. Please DO NOT send cupcakes.

Can my child hand out birthday invitations at school?

Only in the classroom if it is an all student invite or all girl or all boy 
party due to school regulations.
