Ms. Chaparro has been teaching for 15 years. She was born and raised in
Chicago. She attended Chicago Public schools. She received a B.A. in
Mathematics from Northeastern University and a M.A. in Education from Olivet
University.
Ms. Chaparro coaches the sophomore girl’s volleyball team in the fall and
coaches the sophomore girl’s softball team in the spring. In between seasons
she chases her girl’s tries to make sure they are keeping up with their
grades.
Ms. Chaparro has two babies, a seven year old Beagle named Shiloh and a
nineteen year old son. She loves sports especially the Chicago Bears and the
Sox.
Ms. Chaparro loves teaching but she loves her two children more. Her son
graduated from Taft high school and now attends ETI.Her her little girl
Shiloh sits at home staring out the window waiting for someone to come home.
She loves dogs especially her beagle Shiloh. Maybe Shiloh needs a new sister?
I expect all my students to come to class eager and willing to learn. I
will try my best to make every day a meaningful experience. I will relate
math to my world in hopes of my students doing the same. Mathematics can be
fun and yes everyone can and will learn. Never give up and just try to do
the very best that you can.
