Become part of a once-in-a-lifetime, transforming experience.Apply for the Young Ambassadors Program, a paid Smithsonian summer leadership and internship program that is inspiring, innovative, enlightening, and engaging.

Who?
Graduating high school seniors with a commitment to the arts, sciences, or humanities as it pertains to Latino communities

What?
Week-long, all-expenses paid training seminar and a four-week internship with a $2,000 program stipend

Where? 
Washington D.C. and internships in 16 regions across the U.S. and Puerto Rico

Junior Scholars Summer Program @ Miami University

This program provides a total college experience for academically talented, rising high school seniors during a six week, summer term in which they complete the following:
   > Take university courses and earn six to eight hours of college credit
   > Learn from Miami's nationally recognized faculty
   > Reside in a "living-learning" community with other rising seniors
   > Qualify for guaranteed admission to Miami University

Eligibility:
   > Current junior (Senior for 2012-2013 school year)
   > Miminum GPA 3.5/ Rank top 10% of class
   > Recommendation by high school teacher, counselor or principal
  
Cost:
Costs for room, board, and instructional fees vary, depending on number of credit hours taken and Ohio residency status. A $280 deposit is required to confirm participation.
