About The Teacher

I have been working in the Chicago Public Schools for over twenty years.  
Most of this time, I have been teaching science.  I have been teaching 
sixth,seventh, or eighth grades for the past ten years prior to coming to 
Steinmetz. 

I am very happy to be back at Steinmetz for a FOURTH year and the second year as one of the swim 
coaches.

Mission For The Class

The mission for Biology is for the students to gain an understanding of 
living or once living things and the environment in which they live.  
Students are also expected to develop basic scientific and problem-solving 
skills.
