About The Teacher
My name is Halina Kokoszka and I am a biology teacher at Steinmetz High School, Chicago, Illinois.I was born and raised in Poland. I got my higher education from Pedagogical Academy in Cracov, Poland. I have specialized in the field of Biology and hold a M.Sc.in the same field.I had worked as a biology teacher in Poland for five years.I came to the United States in 1992. I have been working as a biology, chemistry, and earth science teacher for Steinmetz Academic Centre for the last eleven years.

Mission
My mission for my classes is to introduce you to all of the exciting things you can learn in biology. Equally important to me is to instill in you a sense of responsibility and love for the learning process. It is a wonderful feeling to experience when you, on your own, have mastered and learned a difficult concept.
