French 1 and 2-Homework/ Francais 1 et 2-Les Devoirs
Week of May 13 through May 17 2013
French1:

  • Story retell Homework- Write a retell of the story we told in class from the week of 5-6-13, using the new vocabulary structures. (10 sentences minimum) and retell the story verbally to a parent or guardian, (get parent to sign that you have spoken in French) or illustrate the story you wrote with 5 illustrations. *Due May 14, 2013
  • Extended Reading Story- Chapter 3, Lecon 3- Read the story and answer the questions about the story in French, complete sentences.  (We will define new words and read/translate the story in class) *Due May 17 (Questions 1-5) *Due May 20 (Questions 6-10)
  • Quick Write in class May 17 (Talk to Mrs. Meunier about how to make up if you miss)

French 2:

    Week of April 29, 2013 through May 3  French 1 and 2:
  • Pauvre Anne work:During my absence students are to read the chapter(s) of Pauvre Anne they have been assigned to.  (French 1- Chapter3/ French 2- Chapters 4 and 5) Each person will hand-in 3 pieces of work:
    1. A list of vocabulary words identified as unfamiliar and defined to aide understanding. (15 POINTS)
    2. A Chapter summary, in English, to show that you understood what you read. (15 POINTS)
    3. Answered questions, in French and in complete sentences, based on the chapters read. (30-40 POINTS)
    *Due on 5-3-13 (Not accepted after 5-17-13)
    *EXTRA CREDIT*
    Stidents can submit- at any time- a 100 word essay or original story written in French. It should be written using vocabulary structures we have covered in class- NO GOOGLE TRANSLATE!
     Can earn up to 50 Extra Credit points!
