This page will answer questions commonly asked by students and parents.
  1. Will my child have daily homework in French class?
  2. Will my child have difficulty learning French?
  3. Is there a problem if my child is absent often?

Will my child have daily homework in French class?

Yes. Regular homework in French is necessary to build basic skills in the language. Homework should be a review of skills learned, and should take 15-30 minutes per night. Students may also have cultural projects to research and/or complete at home. Even if there is not a given assignment, students should always be
studying their notes to review new vocabulary, expressions, and practicing pronunciation.

Yes. In any foreign language class, it is important to be in attendance so
