My mission is to provide students with the opportunity to use scientific
inquiry in the classroom to examine, analyze, and evaluate aspects of the
natural world in accordance with state and national science standards.
Students will employ sound scientific principles as a means to accomplish
this mission. Helping students develop analytical, logical/deductive, and
evaluative scientific skills are the driving goals of my classes.
Life science students will develop their ability to design experiments to
test basic rules by which living things function. Physical science students
will focus on a critical analysis of the full range of non-living natural
phenomena.
