About The Teacher
Welcome to the Stone Creek Elementary website. We are extremely excited to begin the 2011 – 2012 school year. I welcome the opportunity to work with you and your children again for the upcoming school year. We continue our journey to strive for excellence as we experience many opportunities to grow and learn. We want our students to engage in activities to promote reading, math, to think critically, and to become more proficient in their writing. Our teachers at Stone Creek are exceptionally committed to providing the best instructional strategies in a safe and nurturing environment. Whether you are new to Stone Creek or returning, I encourage you to be actively involved in your child’s educational experience and social development. It is important to work together and keep the lines of communication open. Strong relationships with parents, teachers, and students promote a triad of communication for students’ success. Your continued presence in your child’s life, as well as your interest in what your child is doing, thinking, and learning, plays as important role in the progress and choices that he/she ultimately makes. It is my desire to work together for our students’ successes and to provide them with a positive experience. I invite you to communicate with our staff and me to work together for a successful year.
