Math: We are continuing our lesson of measurement. Students will use a variety of manipulatives to measure many things throughout the classroom including body parts (feet, hands, fingers, ect.)

Reading: I will be sending home a reading log every month, please use this to keep track of what is read for the month and return it at the end of the month. Don’t forget to read everyday to your child.  Reading has been proven to be a strong component in children learning to read.  After reading a story, talk about it; ask a few questions about what happened or what might happen next to the characters from the story.

Report Card Pick-Up: Please sign up for a time slot to pick up your child’s report card on Wednesday November 18th.

Parent Read Aloud: Please contact our room parent Mellisa McGowen, to sign up to visit our classroom on a Friday morning for a read-aloud. You may bring your favorite childhood book, or read one from our classroom library.

Recess: We go out for recess or walks around the school everyday unless it is raining. Please dress you child accordingly

Recycle: Please send in your toilet paper tubes and paper towel tubes.
