Math: Students continue to learn about coins and their value, this week we will learn about nickels.  We will continue to learn coins and promote counting and purchasing items with nickels.

Grandparents Week: This week is grandparents’ week. All Grandparents are scheduled at 1:00 and are welcome to stay until 2:45.

Recess: We go out for recess or walks around the school everyday unless it is raining or below 32 degrees. Please dress you child accordingly. When the weather outside is frightful we have indoor recess, the students are allowed choice time and we sometimes have play freeze dance which they really enjoy. Please label your child’s coat, hat, gloves etc. so that they me be easily matched. Also if you are sending them in snow boots, please send an additional pair of shoes so that they are comfortable throughout the day. On Tuesday’s please send their gym shoes for gym class.

Posadas: The Kindergarten classrooms will be singing Christmas Carols along with the BAC on Friday December 18^th at 9:15 am, please join us.

Holiday Party: This Friday the 18^th at 12:30 pm, we will be having a pizza party. If you are sending a home lunch, please ensure it is just a snack so that your child may join the class for pizza. If you would like to send an additional snack for the class please make sure everything is store bought. Some suggestions are: chips, crackers, cookies, fruit, veggies, ect.
