Vision - Every Child A Scientist
The astronomer Carl Sagan once said, "Everybody starts out as a
scientist. Every child has the scientist's sense of wonder and awe."
Sustaining this sense of wonder presents teachers, parents, and others
close to children with a tremendous responsibility - and an
extraordinary opportunity.
Mission
Committed to providing students with an educationally positive
atmosphere where purposeful curriculum and activities support the
values of learning and citizenship.

Be Prepared: bring materials, complete homework, and study.
Be Prompt: be in your seat before the bell rings and
hand in work on time.
Be Polite: listen, stay focused, be attentive, and be open-minded.
Be Honest: "If you always tell the truth, you do not have to
remember what you said." "The truth needs no
defense."
SMART Goals - Specific,Measurable,Attainable,Realistic,and Time-bound
During the 2009-2010 school year, students will increase their
quarterly Inventory Test individual scores by 5% each quarter with ALL
students attaining a score of 80% or above by the end of the school year.
Students will strive to complete all assignments on time with
individual goals of NO missing assignments or less than 5 total per class
each quarter.
Students will increase their ISAT score from 86% in 2009 to 89% this
year with NO students scoring in the below or academic warning category.
