In March of each year I teach a course for Saturday Serendipity.
It is an event sponsored by the Moline Council for the Gifted and
is typically held the second and third Saturday in March at Wilson Middle School.
March 2009 dates are: March 14th and 21st.
Classes are intended for high-ability students (from the PATS program
or as identified by elementary teachers grades 1-6). Some of the courses
include creative writing, physical sciences, theater, creative arts,
computers, and much more.
Each year I teach lessons from different areas of Science. For example
in the past I have taught Earthworm Dissection, Playing With Polymers,
