I teach a Physics course at Black Hawk College's "College For Kids" each summer. This summer 2009 College For Kids will be held from August 3rd-7th. In the past I have also taught Chemistry and Invertebrate Animal Dissection. Black Hawk College's Summer College For Kids program is designed for students who have completed fifth, sixth, seventh, or eight grades. Initial eligibility is determined by meeting at least one of the following criteria: The most recent achievement score at the 90th percentile or above on one of the following: Reading total ~Or Math total ~Or Social Studies ~Or Science ~Or The most recent ability test score at the 90th percentile or above. * Once a student qualifies for College For Kids, he/she is eligible through grade 8. Since students are identified by their schools, parents may address questions about their child's test scores to the child's school principal.
