When does my child have gym class?

Students have Physical Education classes three times a week. Times may vary,
so it is important to learn what days your child has Physical Education. The
classroom teacher can tell you the dates and times.

What does it mean if my child has P.E. on days 1,3 and 5?

At Woodland, our calenders do not have M-T-W-Th-and F on them. We use day 1-5
instead. This way if there is a holiday on a Monday, when the children come
back on Tuesday it is a Day 1 schedule. This way the child will still have
their physical education classes 3 times in that week and will not miss any
activity.

How can I find out what 'day' it is?

The Day 1-5 schedule, or Rotation Schedule, is sent home every month with the
students. If you need another copy, there are extras in the
front office.
