a message on my classroom voice-mail (847) 984-8809.  You can
send a note to school, or e-mail me at sdravo@dist50.net.  I 
check my voice-mail and e-mail messages before school, while 
students are at lunch, and after school.  I will try my best to 
give you a call, send a note, or e-mail that day with an answer.

What should I do if I will be picking my child up from school?

Send a note to school with your child giving the date and time 
you will be picking them up.  If you forget to send a note, call
the Woodland Elementary East office at (847) 984-8800 and
let one of our secretaries know.

Can I send birthday treats to school?

If you wish to send in a treat for your child's birthday, make 
sure it can easily be brought to the lunchroom to share with 
classmates.  There needs to be one treat for each student.
There are 22 students in our class.

Can I send birthday invitations to school?

No, but I would be happy to provide you with addresses or 
telephone numbers of families who give me permission to do so.

When are Library books due?

Library books are always due on day 2 of each week.

How do I get my child to complete homework without difficulty?

It is important to set up a homework area and schedule.  Make 
sure the needed homework supplies are handy for your child to 
use.  Some parents have their student complete homework right 
after school.  Others give their child a break to unwind.  Your 
student has been focusing all day at school and may need to relax.
