Hello! This is my 10th year
teaching at Woodland Elementary East. I love teaching here!!! Here's a little
somthing about me:
I received my college degree in
Physical Education and Athletic Training from Brooklyn College in New York
City. I also received a masters in Special Education from Kean University in
New Jersey.
I was captain of my high school
gymnastics team (uneven parellel bars and vault) and on the track team in
college (sprinter and hurdler). Now I love to bike, kayak, and work with my
horse.
One of the reasons I became a PE
teacher was because I loved sports and science, and I wanted to teach, so PE
was a great way to combine the three. I also had a terrific high school PE
teacher/gymnastics coach that I looked up to.
I am married with twin daughters
who are juniors in high school. I also have three cats, a dog, and a horse.
