Begin compass learning---students are expected to do 45 minutes of work a
week. 20 minutes in their lowest strand and 25 minutes in other strands.
LANGUAGE ARTS-- read 20 minutes

SCIENCE---- study for your vertebrate quiz on Wednesday
** A special note regarding homework*** All students are expected to keep
a record of their daily assignments in their assignment notebook. Students who
do not
complete homework will be given a LAW (late assignment warning) stamp in their
assignment
notebook and will be required to have a parent/guardian signature by the next
school day.
Late or incomplete homework will have a 10% reduction in the score on the
first late day,
and a recorded 0 after the second late day. Students who miss any part of the
hour for
any reason are still required to complete the daily assignments. In some
cases, this
means they will need to seek help from a parent. Daily homework will be posted by
4:00p.m. on that school day.
