What is a P.E Peer Buddy system in gym class?

Using a peer buddy system will ensure that all students in the class will understand and participate in all activities without the need of one to one instruction from the lead teacher. A peer buddy system consists of pairing each student in the class with a partner whom they will work with in physical education. The peer buddy and the student with special needs can work together to learn activities and participate in the activities as a pair.
