About Ms. Amanda

Hello!

This is my ninth year teaching Early Childhood Special Education.  It is my passion, and I love nothing more!  I am also interested in working with infants and toddlers with special needs through the Early Intervention system.  I graduated from Elmhurst College in 2001 with my teaching degree, and I graduated in May of 2009 with my Masters Degree in Child Development with a specialization in Infant Studies.  I have worked at Woodland Primary for the past nine years.

My husband and I got married in 2004.  We have several animals including Sneakers our dog, Cash our Cockatiel, Razor our Bearded Dragon, Pee Wee our Pac Man Frog, Pinkie our leopard gecko, and three zebra finches.  Some of the things that I enjoy doing are reading, trying to visit all 50 states, taking care of my many pets, and my newest hobby is digging up dinosaur bones in the summer!
