Our Valentine's Day party is approaching fast. When filling out valentines
for each student, please do not write the child's name on the envelope. Each
child will be putting one valentine in each bag (for the number of students in
class) and we only have a short amount of time to do this. Thanks!

It's that time of year to help remind your child to use kind words, follow
directions, and be good listeners at school. It will help me out greatly if
you could talk to your child about these important rules at school. Thanks!
The 100th Day of school is right around the corner. This is a fun celebration
for us. It will be on Monday, February 22nd. To help celebrate this day, we
would like every child to wear 100 of something as part of their outfit. I
have an apron that I hot glued 100 buttons to. You may want to put 100 safety
pins on a shirt or make a necklace with 100 fruit loops. Be creative! This
is something fun that you and your child can do together! Please have your
child wear their 100th Day outfit to school on February 22nd.
We have started writing our first and last names. Please continue to have
your child practice writing their name the "Woodland School Way" at home. Thanks!
Please label your child's mittens, gloves, hats, etc. I have a few single
pair of gloves in my room that nobody is claiming. Thanks!
Please send a pair of gym shoes to school (if you haven't already) to keep at
school so your child doesn't have to wear his/her boots all day. Thanks!
Also, please start practicing tying shoes with your child. It would be of
great help. Thanks!
