What is the LION Book?
It is a three ring binder that organizes everything you and your child need for school. Homework, newsletters, schedules,etc. will be found in here. These books will be brought home every day and should be returned to school the next day.Back to Top

What should we do if we don't understand the homework?

What time does school start?
The children should be lined up at 8:20 a.m. and in the classroom ready to work by 8:25 a.m. They will go home at 3p.m.Back to Top

How do the children order lunch?
Your child may order lunch or bring a lunch. A lunch menu is available for you to see what is offered. The cost will be $2.15 per lunch. If you think you are entitled to a free or reduced lunch, you will be notified by the lunch staff or school office. Until you are notified, we ask that you pay the $2.15. It usually takes a week or two to determine this. Lunches can be paid for each day or you can pay ahead of time. All record keeping of payments is done by Ms. Cindy, our lunch supervisor. When you send in lunch money (or any other monies) please put it in an envelope and label it with your child's name, our class name (1Ha) and the reason for the money (Lunch). This envelope should be put in the zippered pocket in the L.I.O.N. Book. Each morning, I will ask your child if they want to order lunch and they can choose from the menu.
