Tasty Tuesday

What is Tasty Tuesday?

I know that second graders love to have a snack now and again.  One Tuesday a month we will prepare a snack to go along with a science theme or holiday that we are studying for “Tasty Tuesday.” We will discuss the recipe, copy it off the SMARTboard in our neatest writing, and keep it until the end of the year to form a recipe book. The children love Tasty Tuesday and learn many concepts from this activity!

An ingredient request note will be sent home on Thursday. If you are unable to supply the requested ingredient, please send a note on Friday. I will request ingredients on a rotation basis in alphabetical order.  Please send the requested ingredient to school on Monday.
