Mrs. Pickett's Classroom uses Eagle Elementary's Strikes and Outs Discipline Plan

*Please understand that while this behavior plan is designed for grades K-5, I will take into consideration your child's age and use the plan age appropriately for a kindergartener.

Students receive a strike for violating a minor procedure during the school day.
3 strikes = 1 Out
Stikes only accumulate for the day.

Outs are given for major violations or for 3 strikes in one school day resulting in going to the office and/or before school detention.  Outs accumulate for the semester.

Students receive Fouls for violationg responsibility rules such as: not bringing his/her folder, not returning a library book, no art shirt, etc. 
5 fouls = Before school detention
Fouls are counted throughout the week.

Students have the opportunity to earn daily rewards such as Bulldog Bucks, weekly rewards, 9 week awards, and Semester awards for Sporting Good Behavior with limited amounts of Strikes and Fouls.

Weekly Celebrations:  Students can participate in Fun Friday activities if they receive 0 strikes and outs during the week and/or no more than 1 foul for the week.

The Student Handbook outlines possible consequences for student behaviors that violate handbook policies regarding fighting, possession of drugs or controlled substances, causing injury to school personnel, weapons violations, sexual behavior, harassment and threats, bullying, theft, illegal activity, or tobacco use.

 Administration has the right to determine the severity of each consequence.
