Anne Ciastko is proud to be a part of the unique learning community of
Forest Ridge Academy for the seventh year as the Director of Music and
Instrumental Programs. Mrs. Ciastko has taught music professionally for 18
years, and brings a lifetime of loving and learning music to the FRA family.
Mrs. Ciastko is a Magna Cum Laude graduate of Loyola University, and
has earned several licenses and certificates including Kindermusik and
Suzuki Violin Education. She plays 15 instruments - her favorites are
violin and piano - and has performed with the University of Chicago Symphony
Orchestra, University of Chicago Chamber Orchestra, St. Xavier Chamber
Players, and has received numerous music awards and recognition.
Mrs. Ciastko has a passion for reading, writing, and working with
children musically and as a literary volunteer. She believes that given
knowledge, respect, and positive encouragement, children can flourish
musically, academically, and become well-rounded, compassionate adults.
