Computer Classes In Action

Technology at FRA

At Forest Ridge Academy we
prepare our students to use
technology as a tool by
integrating our computer program
into all of the subject areas.

The lower school students develop
keboarding skills, word process
poems and stories, create reports
with multimedia programs, are
introduced to a spreadsheet
program, and use the internet
(with guidance) for research.

The upper school students (grades
5-8) participate in our laptop
program, which provides a
flexible learning environment.


The students continue to expand
their knowledge of the computer
tools and have them available for
all of their classes.


Students use the laptops to
research, analyze, organize and
communicate information
effectively using a variety of
programs.
