You can never be too young for
physical education. Mr. Willis
is demonstrating a crawling
activity with the students.

The class is working on different
types of movement -- crawling,
bear walks,jumping, hopping, and
running.

JUMP, JUMP, JUMP!

The students are testing for the
presidential fitness award. This
award is given to students who
score in the 85% and higher
national level in the ALL of the
following 5 categories of fitness:

One Mile Run - tests endurance
10 Meter Shuttle Run - tests
speed and change of direction
Pull Ups and Push Ups - tests
upper body strength
Timed Sit Ups - tests core
strength and muscular endurance
Sit and Reach - measures
flexibility

I did it!

This student is working on his
push-ups. Great form!

You can definitely see the
determination in his eyes! Way
to go!!
