Outdoor Education

The JK and Kindergarten classes
couldn't wait to go on their
field trip to County Line Orchard.

In the bee barn, students learned
about pollination and how it
helps the orchard. The tour guide
also demonstrated how bees
communicate with each other. The
students even got to take a
closer look at the bees.

This is the machine that washes,
dries, polishes, and sorts all of
the apples.

The students learned how apple
cider is made. Each student got
to try a sample of cider. Yummy!

We can't wait to pick some apples!

The tour guides told the students
to pick an apple off of a tree by
pinching the top and twisting it.

Look at the apples we picked!

After lunch, the students enjoyed
looking at animals in the Kid's
Farm.
