* Students are encouraged to wear Spirit Wear every Wednesday.
* Don't forget that every Friday is "Fitness Friday." Please have your child dress appropriately for
physical activity.
* FYI - I will be sending home the students' rest time towels every other Friday so they can be
washed. Please remember to bring them back to school on Monday.
* Our next spelling test will be on Friday, November 6th. Please take the time to review your child's
past letters, letter sounds, and/or sight words.
* If you are participating in the Book It! Program, please fill out the calendar that was sent home and
return it at the end of the month.
* "Donuts with Dad" is on Friday, November 6th. Please come to the gym between 7:30am and
8:30am and enjoy breakfast with your child.
* If you would like to order any books from the book orders that were sent home, please submit your
order either online or to me by Monday, November 9th.
* Our next field trip will be on Thursday, November 19th. We will be going to Governors State
University to see a play entitled Seussical. I will be sending home the permission slips tomorrow.
* Grandparents' Day is on Friday, November 20th. Guests should plan to arrive at 9:30am, and the
musical/drama performances will begin at 10:00am. Students will be dismissed at 11:30am.
