* Students are encouraged to wear Spirit Wear every Wednesday.
* Don't forget that every Friday is "Fitness Friday." Please have your child dress appropriately for
physical activity.
* FYI - I will be sending home the students' rest time towels every other Friday so they can be
washed. Please remember to bring them back to school on Monday.
* Our next spelling test is on Friday, February 12th. Please make sure your child can read and spell
his/her sight words.
* If you are participating in the Book It! Program, please fill out the calendar that was sent home and
return it at the end of the month.
* If you would like to order any books from the book orders that were sent home, please submit your
order either online or to me by Friday, February 12th.
* We will be celebrating Valentine's Day on Friday, February 12th. Typically, students exchange
valentines with each other. If your child brings valentines to school, please make sure he/she brings
one for every one.
* "Jar Wars" is still going on! Please bring in any loose change that you may have so we can add it to
our classroom jar. The kindergarten class has already filled three jars!
* On Tuesday, February 23rd, we will be celebrating the 100th day of school. Don't forget to have
your child dress as if he/she were 100 years old. You can use any props you would like in order
to accomplish this (wig, washable hair paint, glasses, purse, jewelry, tie, cane, etc.). Please be
creative and have fun!
