I am, so far, very happy with our progress on our persuasive piece. At this point, students are beginning to become comfortable working with the new writing program, and they seem to like it, as do I. If you haven't checked it out, be sure to do so; have your child give you a tour of the site.

This week there will be only a vocab (no spelling, since it is a review unit) test on Friday. We will, however, have a brief reading quiz on Tuesday and a social studies quiz over lessons one through four on Thursday. My math class should also tentatively plan on a chapter 10 test on Monday of next week. Have a great week!!!
