There is so much we want to share with you about what makes FRA a remarkable institution. We are a school where learning beyond textbooks actively engages students in asking questions, making observations, and using higher level thinking skills. At Forest Ridge, we are putting students first, building an outstanding faculty and staff, and providing a high-quality academic curriculum in a growing and warm learning environment.

Middle School Students Are Awe-Inspiring- Again!

We are so proud to announce that FRA Middle School students have won second place in the We the People State Competition in Indianapolis on Saturday, December 17th. One of our six teams also won the best unit score.

Among twelve district winners from all parts of Indiana, our students participated in a grueling competition that lasted from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. A flurry of tough questions after tough questions came from the panel of judges, but each team showed off their knowledge of the US Constitution, engaging in thought-provoking discussions. One of the judges commented that he did not know where FRA is, but he will be sure to check us out after our students' brilliant performance.

FRA Middle School Students competed in the District Level, We the People Congressional Hearing at Indiana University Northwest. We are ecstatic to share with you that the FRA Middle School took first place and will be competing at the state level in Indianapolis on the weekend of December 17th.
Students, under the guidance of Mrs. Anderson and Mrs. Labovic have been working diligently, preparing for this Constitutional competition since the beginning of school year. Their hard work paid off as they returned to school as champions and a welcoming circle of the entire student body cheering them on!
