1. Practice at home everyday! 2. Practice your speech with a coach or listener at school. 3. Look at your judge critique sheet to determine where you can improve. 4. Stay slow! After you know your speech well, you tend to talk too fast! 5. Stay healthy! 6. Do your classwork and school work! "Make them laugh, or make them cry!" SPEECH TEAM T-SHIRTS ARE AVAILABLE FOR $7.00 Give orders to Mrs. Murray by Wednesday, October 28 If you are sick on the day of the meet, it would be helpful if your parents would call Mrs. Girten so she can notify the meet coordinators. Dates of the Varsity meets are: October 13 St. John's Newburgh October 27 St. John's Newburgh November 3 St. John's Newburgh November 10 Mater Dei Best of the Best Tournament at Mater Dei November 17 (only 11 entries) These are all Tuesdays. Thank your moms, sisters, and teachers for taking the judge training and judging for our team. We could not compete without them!
