Good Shepherd teams up with the American Red Cross every January and July for blood drives. The dates are published in the bulletin. We encourage parishioners to donate the "Gift of Life". Volunteers are also needed to set up and take down tables and chairs and to work the registration table and canteen.

There were 43 units of blood collected at the blood drive on July 26, 2009, this includes 3 first time donors. Our goal was 35 units. Thanks to all of the donors and the volunteers who worked the blood drive!

The next blood drive will be January 31, 2010 from 8AM until Noon in the cafeteria. The Youth Group will provide a hot breakfast for the blood donors.
