Welcome to Mr. Mayer’s 5th Grade
What you need to know:
When you enter the room in the morning, follow the morning procedure (lunch
count, morning work, etc...).
All homework is to be in alphabetical order and turned in by first recess!
You will be allowed to miss one assignment every nine weeks.
However, you must turn in your homework coupon.
When Mr. Mayer is addressing the class, you need to listen and stay quiet.
If Mr. Mayer rings the bell and raises his hand, you will need to stop what
you are doing, get quiet, and listen for instructions.
If you have a question, raise your hand and wait to be called on. However,
sometimes you will not be called on.
When changing classes you need to stay quiet in the hall. Other classes are
in session so be courteous.
In group activities all students must participate within their groups.
Teamwork is a must!
