My name is Mrs. Girten. This is my fourth year to teach at Good Shepherd
School. I have taught in the Diocese of Evansville for 11 years. I taught
at St. Philip School and Holy Rosary School. I graduated from Reitz High
School. I then received bachelor's and master's degrees from USI.
I have been married for 14 years. My husband and I have 3 wonderful
children that keep us very busy. Sam is 12, Jacob is 9, and Clare is 6. We
belong to Holy Rosary parish. I am looking forward to a great school year.
The mission of the Good Shepherd School community is to "Shepherd the Flock"
in a Christian environment. The educational journey we provide for our
students promotes their positive self-esteem and prepares them for the
challenges of the future.
