Thanks for visiting our website. Cooks' Camp 2009 for our students
in grades 5-8 was a huge success! We had 14 enthusiastic cooks, and the
ovens and kitchens were filled with all kinds of baked goods throughout the
week. Our visit to a local Schnucks gave our campers a chance to learn some
shopping skills, especially in the produce department! Friday was
our "buffet day", and we had enough leftovers to feed some of our school
personnel as well as parents and siblings of the campers.
We are already planning some changes for next year's camp, including
possibly extending the camp session for an additional week!
Special thanks to all the parents and campers for making this a
wonderful week of cooking!!
